Discover with color as you perfect your painting skills with acrylic, tempera & watercolor.  Be inspired by contemporary and master artists to advance your own artistic proficiency.

Digital Art

Session 2 | April 1 - May 6

Ages 8-12 | Saturday: 9am-10:30am

Ages 13-18 | Saturday: 11am-12:30pm

Design digital sketch books, characters, paintings, special effects, animations and more on the iPad and incorporate new techniques and applications to perfect your digital creations.

Mixed Media

Mix and match to create unique works of art in ceramics, drawing, painting, printmaking and more.

Sharpen your drawing skills using graphite, charcoal, pen & ink to create portraits, still lives and landscape masterpieces. Be inspired by contemporary and master artists to advance your own artistic proficiency.

Clay Magic

Ages 5-7

Learn the fundamentals of hand-building with coils and slabs to create impressive ceramic sculptures you’ll be proud of. 

Homeschool/Group Art

Homeschool Group STEAM | Ages 6-12

Minimum of 10 & max of 15 children per group
$12 per child per day, per hour (Pre-registration required)

Explore STEM to STEAM curriculum through the lens of an artist. Compelling mixed media and hands-on lessons in science and art will inspire a love of learning.

Ms. Sue Aguilera

The fabulous Ms. Sue has inspired future artists, entrepreneurs, and innovators at the YAA Institute for just over two decades! She is a multi-medium master, phenomenal pep talker, and spunky spirted Artist and Art Educator!

Innovative Art Curriculum

Looking for something different? The Young At Art Institute focuses on new engaging themes. Each session introduces artists, media, and techniques in fun and innovative ways. Our multifaceted curriculum offers students the ability to continue their courses at the YAA Institute by enrolling in Ceramics, Drawing, Painting, Photography, and  Mixed Media so they’ll be able to enjoy a variety of disciplines as they grow up at YAA!
