Children's Festival of the Arts
Children and teens grades K-12, present their visual art and literary achievements at individual booths for one day only. Visitors will get a chance to meet the artists, purchase their artwork, create their own artwork, and celebrate YAA’s commitment to giving a platform to talented young artists in our community.

Parent to Kid Connection Workshops

Parent to Kid Connection (PKC) aims to engage participants through play, where children learn about the world and themselves. PKC facilitators will be early childhood educators and women artists, many of whom also identify as BIPOC, the goal is to provide a safe space for participants to make art together and talk candidly about cultural and professional barriers, address positive mental health practices, creative approaches to rising families, learning practical communication skills with their children, and lasting bonds at home and in the greater Broward community.

Field Trips, Classroom Outreaches, Mobile Art Museum
At YAA we integrate art into accessible educational activities that infuse excitement with interaction! We offer FIELD TRIPS, CLASSROOM OUTREACHES, and ART EXPERIENCES AT YOUR SCHOOL tailored for each age group and grade level. All programs are geared towards the 21st century learner! YAA’s educational method incorporates hands-on art activities with Common Core Florida Standards, engaging critical thinking for students of all abilities.

Sing, dance, and make instruments with us as we visit faraway lands and learn about different cultures and story telling through music! South Florida Chamber Ensemble (SFCE) partners with Young At Art Museum to conduct a live concert performance through fables and fairytales with new fantastical themes each month.

Summer Guest Artist Series
This Thursday, August 11, 11:15am (Free with admission)
Build a Yayoi Kusama-inspired spotted bagel with special guest artist and YAA Founder, Mindy Shrago. Her ceramic work explores the alteration of subject matter; images are removed from their natural state and redefined by integrating imagery. Shrago redefines objects and space, creating a sense of freedom and an escape from reality.
